Business Intelligence

Students in this course develop the ability to design technology-enabled processes for decision-making and knowledge management in e-business environments. Complementary advances in e-business models, information technology, and analytical methods are redefining decision-making strategies, problem-solving approaches, and processes of knowledge creation and sharing.

The course examines alternative decision making and knowledge management models and their alignment with business processes and individual needs.

It covers applications of advanced data modeling, data warehouses, multi-dimensional databases, online analytical processing (OLAP), data mining, data visualization, collaboration technologies and intelligent agents.
