Legal Environment of e-Business

 

This course is designed to introduce students to the technical, legal and managerial issues that affect the conduct of business, with particular emphasis on issues arising from the conduct of e-business.

 

This course takes a risk management approach by focusing on the legal implications of managerial decision-making.

  Students will also become familiar with governmental and technical organizations that regulate e-business along with the laws and standards those organizations promulgate. Ultimately, students will gain an appreciation of both how to limit liability and how to incorporate law into a successful managerial strategy.
