This course is intended to formally introduce the student to the consulting process by undertaking a consulting project for the students’ own organization.
The project is designed to challenge students to apply all relevant theories, concepts, models and tools from the GeM program. Over several sessions, students will be introduced to effective consulting practices. Armed with this knowledge, the students will be required to plan, develop and present an effective solution drawn on knowledge gained from program to solve a pre-identified and sponsored eBusiness-related problem for their organization |
This course provides students a consulting opportunity that leads to the
following benefits: 1. The opportunity to integrate your previous work experience and personal background with the new skills and ideas acquired during the GeM program. 2. Exposure to the consulting process (learning as a consultant and as an informed client). 3. Broader exposure to the student’s company to increase visibility and contacts. 4. The ability to “give back” to the organization that is sponsoring the student, either through time off and/or program fee support. |
