 Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) was founded by a group of entrepreneurs in 1913 looking for a program for higher education in trading. From these modest beginnings, the institution has developed into a well-known, highly ranked university with seven schools including the School of Economics, Business Administration, Law, and Medical and Health Sciences.
Worldwide, Erasmus University Rotterdam has a reputation for being a business-like, practically oriented university. The University has a special interest in management education; it's management development programs are viewed as outstanding and comprehensive. |
The GeM Program is offered in collaboration with the Rotterdam School of
Management -Faculty of Business, and the Rotterdam School of Economics. The
Rotterdam School of Management is the nationally designated Dutch member of
the EU network CEMS (Community of European Management Schools). CEMS serves
as a network for exchanging students and staff and harmonizing business
degree programs.
Erasmus enjoys an undisputed status as a center of competence in the area of e-Business. Research activities in this area are carried out at the Erasmus University Center for Electronic Commerce (ECEC). |
